Messinarte is a management company of museum and tourism services. We have been working for about 30 years for the development of cultural tourism and of artistic and monumental heritage of the province of Messina through guided tours, educational activities.
Since 1997 we manage the Museum of the Cathedral also called as Treasury  and the Astronomical Clock tower of Messina.
The Cathedral with its Treasury and Clock tower set in the beautiful frame of the Cathedral square, is worth a visit, a unique experience, full of unforgettable emotions.

Opening hours

– Museum: Treasury of the Cathedral
May: open from Monday to Saturday from 10am to 1pm. On May 2, 4, 5, 8, 12, 13, 15, 16, 19, 23, 25, 26, 27 and 29 open from 10am to 4pm. On May 1 open from 10am to 1pm.

June: open from Monday to Saturday from 10am to 1pm. On June 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 9, 12, 13, 16, 19, 23, 24, 26, 27, 29 and 30 open from 10am to 3.30pm. On June 4 and 25 open from 10am to 2pm.

– Clock Tower
May: every day from 10am to 1pm. On May 2, 4, 5, 8, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 19, 22, 23, 25, 26, 27, 29 and 30 open from 10am to 5.30pm. On May 1 open from 10am to 1pm.

June: every day from 10am to 1pm. On June 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 9, 12, 13, 16, 19, 23, 24, 26, 27, 29 and 30 open from 10am to 4pm. On June 4 and 25 open from 10am to 2.30pm.

N.B.: In case of rain shower, thunderstorm or strong wind, the clock tower will be closed.

In addition to normal opening hours,  groups (min. 25 pax) can reserve a visit by prior arrangements at info@messinarte.it.
